The New York City subway system can be the bane of one's existence. It's filthy, it's crowded... occasionally a mariachi band will miraculously appear when you are brutally hungover or a crafty rat will drag an entire slice of pizza around and go viral. These things happen... you deal with it. The image depicted on this shirt is pulled from that very world: the often-overlooked, but no-less significant "Late Night Stops Made Here" sign on most New York City subway platforms.
And then of course, we have the king of sensationalized 70's street justice: Charles Bronson. No two-bit number runner or Lower East Side lowlife stood a chance against this pillar of community. A celebrated architect by day, a revenge-thirsty vigilante who takes down any sleazy piece of shit who crosses his path by night. Death Wish, the 1974 cult classic (that spawned a demented amount of sequels) was Dino De Laurentis' opus to urban decay.
Shoot first and let God sort em out! Rest in peace, Charlie.
